Crime Stoppers is a program that empowers regular people to fight back against crime. Anyone can submit an anonymous tip by using our tips line, and if that tip leads to a charge by police, then the caller may be eligible for a cash reward for their effort.
Crime Stoppers operates in 15 countries around the world and since the very first program started in 1976, we have become the number one community based crime solving organization in the world.
Volunteers play an integral role in Crime Stoppers
Members of our board of directors, in committees, helping with projects, attending events, fundraising by selling items or tickets, working on special events and providing person-power and expertise.
Interested in Sponsoring?
Contributions to the reward fund are needed on a continuous basis. The more successful the program, the greater the funds necessary. Donations of printing and graphics for brochures, fliers, posters, etc., production of promotional items such as T-Shirts, caps, mugs, bumper stickers, matchbooks, etc., and billboard space, are also needed.

Volunteers may be required to submit a police agency security letter of assurance that may include a criminal records check. If required, this can be currently obtained free of charge to volunteer applicants courtesy of the Ontario Provincial Police.
