Donation box stolen from counter

(Pembroke, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of a cash donation box from the counter of a restaurant on Pembroke Street East in the City of Pembroke.

On January 22, 2024, at just after 9:00 p.m., an unknown person entered the business and stole a hospital donation box. The individual fled on foot and was last seen southbound on Catherine Street.

The person of interest is described as approximately 5ft 6in. with a medium build. They were carrying a black backpack and wearing glasses, dark clothing, and a hoodie. A photo of the individual is attached.
