OPP INVESTIGATING FATAL SHOOTING IN THE TOWN OF RENFREW

(RENFREW, ON) – The mother of Jonathan LOGAN is appealing to the public for any information that may assist the investigation into her son’s death in Renfrew nearly three years ago.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023, Jonathan was fatally shot at a home on Vimy Boulevard. He was 41 years old at the time of his death. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and remains at large.
Investigators believe Jonathan was deliberately targeted and are confident that information from the public could help solve the case.

This remains an active investigation by the Renfrew OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Assistance has also been provided by the OPP East Region Regional Support Team, OPP Forensic Interview Team, OPP Forensic Identification Services, OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
