(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating an incident involving threats with a weapon at a gas station in Pembroke.
The incident occurred on November 16, 2023, at just after 7:30 p.m., when customers exchanged words at a gas station on Pembroke Street East in Pembroke. One of the involved individuals made threatening remarks while brandishing an edged weapon. The same person damaged the victim’s motor vehicle and then left the area on a bicycle, proceeding westbound towards the Algonquin Trail.
The person of interest in this case is described as follows:
- Approximately 30-year-old Caucasian male
- Wearing a black toque and green military-style jacket
- Clean shaven
