SEXUAL OFFENCES ARREST

(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested an individual in connection with multiple sexual offences in Pembroke. An investigation was carried out by the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Crime Unit following allegations that a Pembroke resident engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct involving youth under the age of 16.
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, as a result of the investigation, a 75-year-old male from Pembroke was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
– Sexual Interference – two counts
– Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age – two counts
A sexual offence can be reported to police no matter how long ago it happened.
