DAMAGES TO MAILBOXES AFTER FAIL TO REMAIN COLLISION

(KILLALOE, ON)- Several mailboxes were damaged by a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene.

On Friday, May 6, 2022, shortly before 6:30 a.m., police received a call of damaged mailboxes on Augsburg Road near Klingbeil Street, in the Township of Bonnechere Valley. Police have determined that an unknown vehicle was travelling eastbound on Augsburg Road, and left the roadway striking several mailboxes. Police believe the collision to have occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. on the morning of May 6, 2022.

Police are asking anyone with information surrounding this collision to contact the Killaloe OPP Detachment at 613-757- 2600.
