OPP Investigating Break & Enter in Barry’s Bay

(MADAWASKA VALLEY Twp.) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a commercial break and enter to a gas station in the 300 block of John Street in Barrys Bay.

Police were called to scene at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Monday April 6, 2026, after an alarm was received. The culprits fled prior to police arrival. A quantity of cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets were stolen.

An OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) and the OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) are assisting with the investigation, which is ongoing.
